Terms and conditions

A.K.A. How to avoid potential misunderstanding

First and foremost, we at Imagine Center for Learning are educators. We love what we do and we believe we can make a positive difference in someone’s life.  We want to share our knowledge with our students and help them (that means you) succeed in life. Passion is our business and happiness is our goal.  We believe in being nice, not evil. We hate complicated legal jargons and strict rules and conditions.  We therefore, try to keep it as simple and straight to the point as possible.

Before the class:
  1. By registering for a course at Imagine Center for Learning, you indicate your acceptance of our terms and conditions.
  2. The website, logo, trademark and any property belonging to or associated with us, (including, but without limitation, text, graphics, videos, music, sound and links) is and remains at all times our property or is used under licence and is protected under international treaty provisions and world-wide copyright laws and you agree that you will not infringe any such rights in any way.
  3. Please be aware that all our courses are on first come, first serve basis.  Once you’ve registered for a course, please make the payment as soon as possible to secure your place.
  4. Feel free to ask for a free trial lesson.
  5. We provide a free assessment of your English level.  Call us to find out.
  6. When you register for a course through our website, the booking won’t be confirmed until we send you a confirmation email.
  7. In the case of not enough students registered for a course, we have the right to cancel or alter the course and we will either refund the course fees or offer an alterntive course.
  8. If you change your mind and decide not to attend a course you’ve paid for, we will refund 100% of the fees back to you if you cancel 15 days before the course’s start date.  We will not refund any fees if you cancel 3 days or less before the course’s start date.
  9. We reserve the right to change instructors (with other equally qualified and experienced instructors) at any time during the course.
  10. We reserve the right to use photograhs and videos taken during courses to illustrate our promotional materials.  If you don’t want us to use your photos or videos, please inform us by email before the course starts.
During the class:
  1. Please come on time.  It is disrecpectful and disruptive to your classmates and instructor when you arrive late to your class.
  2. Please dress appropriately for your course.  You may need to move around a lot.
  3. Please inform your instructor if you have any health problems or injuries that may prevent you from doing certain activities.
  4. You are expected to participate actively in your course.
  5. Please set your mobile phone to mute at all times during your class.
  6. We are not able to provide a replacement lesson or give a refund if you miss a lesson, regardless of the reason.
  7. If you fail to cancel or reschedule your private (one to one) lesson 12 hours before the scheduled time, it will be considered a paid lesson.
  8. Please be kind and respectful to your classmates and instructor.  If you refuse to participate in class, display negative behavior that disrupt the learning environment of other students, are ill-mannered and openly insult/ harrass your classmates or instructor, you will be removed from the course without a refund.
  9. We try our best to ensure the safety and well being of all our students while they are in our premises but we will not be held responsible or liable for any injuries, illnesses or death due to an accident or events that are beyond our control.
  10. You attend and participate in our courses at your own risk. We accept no responsibility for any of the following:a. loss or damage to personal propertyb. loss of data, profit, revenue, use, business, anticipated savings, goodwill, reputation or opportunity, financial or economic loss or any indirect or consequential loss or damage.
After the class:
  1. We would really appreciate it if you could take the time to send us your course feedback and evaluation.
  2. We respect your privacy and do not share your personal information without your written consent.
  3. Students will receive a certificate of completion for a course if their attendance has been 80% or more.
